Fancy a bit of virtual window shopping?

Here are some of my recent Etsy favourites

Whenever we have a birthday coming up in our house (Easton turns 20 next week!) I like to look on Etsy for unique things my kids aren’t expecting, and it’s a nice way to support independent creators and curators too. And sometimes when I’m bored, like I was this past rainy weekend, I’ll head over to Etsy just to browse for the sake of browsing. It’s like virtual window shopping! (Anyone else?) I especially love looking at vintage curators or ceramicists. I’ve found some beautiful vintage art on Etsy and continue to follow those sellers, and Quin and I also like to look for fabric (mostly admiring and dreaming up projects). It really is a treasure trove!

I thought I’d share a few of the things I’ve ‘favourited’ lately, in case you feel like a little browse too. Just a bit of inspiration on this grey and drizzly day in Byron…

1. Nylon zip pouches for holding sunscreen in the beach bag or pencils in backpacks

2. A vintage pottery bowl because it’s cute

3. Yarn-dyed linen fabric in good colours (check out the other fabrics in this shop too! 😍)

4. The cutest cotton cherry pyjamas!

5. Gold flower stud earrings for the teen girls (or their mum!)

6. Vintage ice cream scoopers because it would add so much cheer to ice cream nights!

7. A sweet vintage candle holder for lighting a candle at your desk on dark afternoons

8. Waxed canvas zipper pouches/wallets for a certain 20yo boy

9. Handmade ceramic plates for decorative wall art

10. Pretty floral corduroy fabric for sewing projects

11. Customisable caps (I actually ordered these for my nieces and nephews for Christmas with cute little slogans on them!)

12. The cutest handmade porcelain cake toppers (I’ve got my eye on the fish for a certain fish-obsessed boy, and was thinking it would be a keepsake for him to have forever)
