My Sister Meaghan Shares 5 Things She's Loving Right Now
A bingeworthy TV series, a flower shop, a hair product and the best place to shop for second-hand clothing
My sister turns 40 in a few weeks and I get to fly home to Seattle to celebrate with her! I can't wait to spend time with her, to smooch her gorgeous baby, to stay in her cool apartment and do lots of fun things together!!
Meaghan lives in Seattle with her partner and their 9-month-old baby boy. She is one of these women who is always so effortlessly cool without trying. Her apartment is inspiring with lots of vintage furniture and beautiful art, and every nook and cranny has something thoughtful and inspiring in it. She also always gives the best gifts, knows all the hip places to go, and is going to cringe when she reads this because she's the most humble person I know.
I was so excited when she sent me her list of five favourite things. I now have a new show to watch, a hair product to try, and some fun used clothing to buy.
Here are 5 things Meaghan is loving right now…
1. Beef, a dark comedy on Netflix that has me staying up past my bedtime on the edge of my seat.
2. Noihsaf Bazaar, and other BST (buy, sell, trade) accounts for gently used clothing of slow fashion brands for myself and kiddo.
3. Having pretty flowers in the house from Neighborhood Flower Co. I also bought some potted ranunculus from them and have been slowly watching those grow on our front porch!
4. My hair is kind of wavy in the front and curly in the back and dry/frizzy all over. I recently stole some hair product from my partner and think I am hooked for life. This Haima Beauty Co. hair/body cream has changed my hair completely, making it look and feel healthier while giving me more defined curls.
5. My partner and I love natural wine, so every few weeks I go to my favorite place in Seattle (that also happens to be run by one of my favorite people) and stock up. I get to browse her wine and book selection while she holds my baby. It’s a win win.
