I have been asked for tips on decorating children's rooms, so I thought I would give a short tour of Wilkie and Marlow's bunk room.
I have always loved decorating children's rooms because it's an opportunity to be a bit more playful. You can include colours that you might not use elsewhere, you can hang up their art and personalise their space a bit, and if you're clever with what you choose, you can include furniture and art that will grow with your children and not feel too 'kiddie' after a few years.
Living here in Byron Bay, where the weather is really humid and mould is hard to control, I have learned to keep things quite minimal in terms of decorations, but still I love adding a few special details to the children's rooms.
